In Japan, output power of 2m amateur radio band is restricted as only 50 watts for all amateur radio license class. If we Japanese wanted to be QRV on EME, we must apply a special permission of high power (max. 500 watts) license on 2m only for EME. But there are some big wall. First, there is completion inspection by public officer of Bureau of Telecommunications. Second, we need to calculate the electronics exposure level and achieve the regulation. Japanese high power EME stations overcome these problems and have a license! It is difficult to have a high power EME license EVEN in JA main land, but we decided to try in Ogasawara!!
This is a document of applying for the 1st time 2m 500Wattes EME license in Ogasawara.
